Schedule An Email To Be Sent Later In Outllook For Mac

Mailbutler's Send Later feature allows you to write an email and schedule it to be delivered at a later date and time.
  1. Outlook helps you show up prepared to your meetings by suggesting emails and files that are relevant to the event or attendees. 3-day Calendar view Updates to the calendar gives you extra flexibility with a 3-day view to more clearly see meetings and events if you have a full schedule.
  2. Then, to schedule the email, go into your Mac's Calendar app (fomerly known as iCal) and set your Automator app to open at the time you want to to send an email. Check out the link for the details.
  3. Delay Delivery is an excellent feature in Outlook if you want to send emails later, i.e., Send a future email. You can use this feature in two ways. One by setting this option for the emails you want or second by creating rules where you can specify conditions that will make it delay.

Note: The Send Later Feature should not be used to create email blasts or campaigns. Scheduling large batches of emails (more than 100) can result in a failure to send. This limit is due to most users' servers, not because of Mailbutler.

How does Send Later work?

Mailbutler moves the email to the Scheduled Emails folder on the user's email server. The email will stay there until the scheduled time. We don't save the email on our server nor do we send it from there.

How to Schedule Emails on iPhone or iPad

In this tutorial, I'm going to use Spark, as it's a bit smarter and pretty easy-to-use.

  1. First off,
  2. Once you have set up the app, create a new email. To get started, tap on the tiny pen icon along the bottom of the screen. Next, select the recipient and subject. Then, write the message.
  3. Next up, you need to tap on the email scheduling icon at the top right corner of the keyboard.
  4. Up next, you can either select the pre-defined schedules or choose your own date. Note: The email app lets you schedule messages up to six months into the future. To choose your own date and time, tap on Pick date.

How to Schedule Emails on Mac

  1. To get started, download Spark on your Mac and set it up using your existing email account
  2. Now, you need to create a new email and then select the recipient, subject, and write the message. Next, click on the Schedule icon, which is located next to the Send button.
  3. Now, you have the option to either choose from the pre-defined dates and times or select your own date and time. Once you have selected the preferred date and time, click on Set Time when ready.
  4. After you have scheduled the email, click on the blue Schedule button to finish.
